FANTASY SPORTS CONNECTION 14,400 V.32B (314)785-9456

Welcome to Fantasy Football Season!
Admit it Bunky! Ever since you were 10 years old, with your grubby
fist full of football cards that smelled like bad gum, you KNEW
you could do a better job of coaching your favorite football team
then the clown that was currently running them straight into the
league's cellar.
You knew that the trade for that broken-down running back would
never pan out and you knew that the rookie receiver they dealt away
for him was a potential star. Now, FSC Fantasy Football gives you
the opportunity that the NFL refused to give you. YOU can now become
the Owner, General Manager, Head Coach and Chief Scout for your very
own team.
YOU draft the team and tailor it to YOUR specifications. YOU make
the game-to-game decisions that make or break your club. Do you
trade Montanna for Simms and Sharpe? Do you take a chance and sign
Jackson? Bench Aikman? Sign Anderson to a long term contract?
It's all up to you in the FSC Fantasy league. Make
the wrong choices and end up in the cellar. Make the right moves
and win a league championship.
************************************
Fantasy Football in a nutshell is a contest to see who can draft and
manage the best team made up of real-life football players. Each
competitor in the league becomes an "owner" and each owner selects
the players that will become his "team" on paper.
After players are drafted, statistics are kept for each player every
week in predetermined catagories and at the end of the season the
owner whose team produces the best composite statistics wins.
The challenge comes in selecting the right players and choosing when
and where to use them. We'll will allow each owner to
select seven (7) players. A lineup will consist of one (1) Quarter-
back, two (2) Running Backs, two (2) Wide Receivers, one (1) Tight
End, and one (1) kicker.

Listed below will be statistical categories that determine standings.
1--QBRATING, this statistic will reflect the NFL style rating for passers
based on percentage of complettions, avearage gain per pass attempt,
percentage of TDS and interception percentage.
2--RUSHING YARDAGE, includes all rushers on the team including QBs and
receivers if they gain yardage on running plays.
3--RUSHING YARDAGE PER ATTEMPT, is the total yards rushing divided by
number of attempts.
4--RECEPTIONS, is the total number of passes caught by team members
including those passes caught by running backs.
5--PASSING YARDAGE, is the total number yards gained by passers plus the
total number of yards gained by receivers (including backs).
6--PASSING YARDAGE PER ATTEMPT, is passing yardage (above) divided by
passes attempted plus receptions.
7--TOTAL YARDAGE, reflects all yardage gained passing, rushing, and
receiving.
8--TEAM AVERAGE GAIN PER PLAY, is total yardage (above) divided by pass
attempts plus rush attempts plus receptions.
9--TEAM TOTAL POINTS, is the number of TDs scored times 6 plus kicker
points.

Recently, I pulled all the doors off my bbs. I was sick of callers
who wanted to play "Space Weenies" without contributing to the bbs.
We want to offer Fantasy League Football to Sysops who want a little
more out of their bbs than that type caller. We're going to offer
one free league to a Sysop we pick at random. The other leagues will
cost the sysop $50.00--We don't feel that this is an unfair price.
If you check, you'll find that most fantasy league teams go for at
least $25.00 PER TEAM. We're offering you a COMPLETE LEAGUE for $50.00
I would suggest that you charge each bbs member for a team. It makes no
difference to us, it's your bbs.
Once your members have chosen their players, uploaded their choices to
us, then we'll upload a door to you written for displaying all the stats,
team standings, and rosters. It's a NICE door, and I want to thank
Jerry Aldrich for taking the time to write it for us.
Then the rest is simple, every two weeks we'll have your stats, and standing
ready. Just download them, slip them in the directory you created to run
the fantasy league door, and you're updated and ready to go. We do all the
work.
I can also put them on hold for you and you can pick them up with a mailer
if you're useing one. In the case of trades, siging of free agents, you
must have them to me on the day the stats come out, which will be a Thursday.
That's about it. I've included the below listed files in case you need
them to choose your players. Just have your members choose one player from
each doc with one being the individual they'd most like, two being their
second choice, etc. Conduct your draft, send me your rosters and
I'll see that you get your door.
